The simplest way to influence change and to inspire others, is through telling one’s story. Relatablely-Uncensored is an avenue to share life experiences and musings that are just too private, inappropriate, and outrageous to throw out there on social media for the spouse, grannies, co-workers and clients to digest. The topics vary, with the common themes of maneuvering through relationship troubles, recovery from trauma, alcohol and drug abuse, and a healthy dose of sexuality.
You might be thinking, ‘but you are throwing it out on a blog for the entire world to see.’ Yes, I am. Admittedly, I am not publishing Relatably-Uncensored using my real name. I am a champion of transparency, but I am going against my values to protect the privacy of those closest to me. For our stories, are the stories of others. I can assure you, many of those others in my life, are not ready to share their stories so openly.
Most of us have experienced familial dysfunction, the degree of severity of that dysfunction varies greatly. Our struggles and desires to rise above the dysfunction and thrive is what connects us all. I hope you find the uncensored content on this site relatable. We are all works in progress.
